Can the device be used as an Access-Point for long range-coverage?
Yes, this device also supports Access-point operation mode, to setup the device as an access-point follow below steps:
- Login to the GUI of the device: http://sitecom.ext (admin/admin)
- Go to Operation-Mode, select Acces-Point and click “Save and Apply”
- Connect the device to an existing wired network
- Setup your device to match the default ip-range of the product (192.168.1.xxx)
- Login again using http://192.168.1.1 to complete the configuration
- We suggest changing the ip-address of the device to match the network where the device has been connected to
